"I am a graduate and ever since I got there I knew that it would be a better school than PS. 229. I am in Maspeth High School now. I loved the teachers and they were really nice. I plan on visiting the school again because I miss it. I miss all my teachers. Some may think otherwise but I'll do anything to go back to this school to even see my old teachers and my sister who's in Bradbury 6b1."

"Some of the school officials do their best to support kids and parents. It would be beneficial to all if most teachers engaged children more with understanding and empathy. Some of the teachers like Ms Ortiz are a godsend to this school. There needs to be more hiring of teachers like her."

"This school is really good and so much fun , but some of the teachers are hard to get good grades in their classes like Mr. levy , and the Spanish teacher Ms.brigido. Other wise I love the school so much I love the academy am in (Carnegie ) and the dean is very nice"

"I had an ok time here. The work is a lot easier than high school, that's for sure. But the dirty cafeteria floors, the fact that there isn't air conditioning in most rooms and how crowded the hallways can get can make your experience quite miserable. But you just have to deal with it."

"Dont send your kids if you dont HAVE to.. I'm a parent of a child who just graduated and I will tell you the faculty & teachers are good for nothing especially if you have a struggling student. My sin was here for 2 years and ur was the worst 2 years if his life! I'm beyond grateful to have it over with and say good riddance to this experience. I had a similar experience for 3 years with my daughter there just a few years back and even with myself when i attended in the early 90s. What a waste of educational years. My sincerest condolences to those just beginning there!"
