"My little sister attends this school and constantly gets bullied!!! Don’t send your child there, they do nothing to improve the situation! She also gets tons of homework and never catches a break. Yes homework is important but not when you are trying to turn sister into a robot."

"My mother, aunt and uncles attended this school. I also was a student until 93. One really bad experience with my second grade teacher Mrs. Williams. I remember Mrs. Bell was Assistant Principal. lol I must be really showing my age now!"

"We have found such a warm, inviting community at PS 241. The principal and teachers are accessible. The kids get art, science, music, gym and computer class; there's also a really beautiful library and a dedicated librarian. And our son really likes going to school every day. It's not perfect -- what school is? -- but our job as parents is to work with the community as it grows and changes."

"Went there between 1987-1991. Ms. Gill was the principal. Had Mrs. Ferguson, Drucker, Alston, and Rosenberg for teachers. Ms. Jackson was the security guard. Mrs. Smith the music teacher. Mrs. Coleman the computer science teacher. Great school. Best years of my life. I was a poor kid of Haitian immigrants but got the best education. The art program was the best. We staged The King and I. I went on to attend NYU for undergrad and graduated from Columbia Med School. I am now 1 year away from completing my residency in Neurosurgery. This place set the foundation for where I am today. Can't wait to get back to Brooklyn and give back."
