P.S. 161 - The Crown School

"The school is chaotic everyday at dismissal time the school secretary ms. Glen is very rude and openly discusses children to other people to know your buisness. Then the security guard is always whispering behind parents backs to other people while you stand there. There are always a group of older women all with short hair openly discussing the fact that its not their job to run after kids and talk to kids to get them to behave. So why dont they let these old women go and hire younger more qualified people to work in this school. The schools principal needs to do a better job at talking to students as well as giving his staff customer service and sensitivity training cause they sure need it."

"If you care at all for your child's well being, education or safety, do yourself a favor and don't send them here. This school is need of a staff overhaul starting with the principal, Mr.Johnson. Save yourself the headache and send your child to a better school."

"I went here from 2010-2015, and it was an amazing experience! The teachers are really awesome, and the technology program is amazing. Principal Johnson and Assistant Principal Ms.Brown are really nice and respectful. The only problem is the charter school >:( But besides them, this school is 10/10. Now I go to Philippa Schuylar, and I could not of gotten in without the help of my former teachers and school helpers! - A sixth grader"
