"giving it a 3, cause I am confused . it sounds like an amazing school but I don’t want to be entering a school with students who have a habit of bullying or “ annoying “ others , because personally , i easily get mad when someone is being annoying or is bullying others or me . I don’t want to be entering a school where students who did not get accepted to their high school choice is sent here in Harry S Truman high . I’ve read reviews and most of it is bad comments , do teachers really give off a bad vibe ? From movies I’ve seen , I reaaaally don’t wanna go to a high school filled with disrespectful males and females who judge you by just looking at you . Sooo , just need some confirmations ."
"Security there are very rude to the children and their parents. The afternoon attende was also rude and hung up the phone on me. They have no respect for the community and nothing is being done to them and it’s getting outa hand. Kid’s are leaving the school to go for lunch and they have security guards!!! How is this possible?"
"This school has its ups and downs ,my problem is school safety its not enough of the and every time I come there they do more talking to each other than paying attention to what's going on in the school, also some of the teachers are know better the way that they talk to the students is horrible .I first hand had a teacher apologize to me for the way she spoke to my son her being white and my son black racism is still an on going issue ..my other issue is the school is very large and sometimes the teachers are not giving students enough time to get to one class to another if they even 2 minutes late the teachers ask them to leave the class and don't come back til u have a letter explaining why your late there wouldn't be a letter if your coming from one flood to the next its timing .yes kids stop and talk but that's not every kid"
"My most social years other this college. I made many friends but I wish I had more academic progress. I wish I could of had more art courses."
"well truman wasnt my high school but it wouldve been if i didnt get accepted to my high school ..but overrall the school isnt bad its the students no school is a bad school its always the studenst they accept into the school and alot of the kids are only placed into that school when they dont get accepted to a school of their choice which made truman their home school (closest school in the area) and most the students live in t he area or near the area which made it easier to commute ..so once again its not the school its the students that are placed"
