"I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities. The staff was all very kind. The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the wait times but i also understand that is not completely within the control of the organization. For context, i was sent to the ER by an ortho to rule out any neck injuries from fall i took during outdoor activities."
"If I could give 0 stars I would! There’s PHI on waiting area tables as well as biohazard cups. I Arrived at 9:45 AM by ambulance for a head injury. Upon my arrival I was put in a wheelchair and taken to the waiting room. Around 1:30PM my proxy inquired about the wait to which the front desk tech informed her that I needed a Pregnancy test in order to get a CT! A pregnancy test that would have never been presented to me had my proxy not asked. After getting the pregnancy test done as well as the CT at 2:15 pm I was put BACK into the waiting area where I have been sitting waiting for results ever since it’s now 6:02PM and I was just informed that my scans haven’t been looked at yet and it will be another 2 hours before a room is ready. I’ve had blurred vision and a pounding headache since I arrived and they’ve done absolutely NOTHING! Do NOT bring your loved ones to this ER."
"I’m deeply troubled by the distressing experience my father faced at Miller Fillmore. As a concerned family member, I need to highlight the concerning events that occurred during his stay. Dr. Mills’ casual admission of causing a hole in my father’s small intestine was shocking and unacceptable. Moreover, multiple procedures were performed against my father’s wishes, causing significant distress to our family. The mistreatment by the staff, involving unauthorized procedures and rough handling of patients, is utterly unacceptable and may even be illegal. Throughout my father’s stay, communication was severely lacking. The staff failed to keep us informed about his condition, leaving us anxious and uninformed. The impact on my father’s physical and emotional well-being cannot be overstated. This experience has been deeply traumatic for him and has had a profound effect on our family. To better understand the situation, we took measures to monitor interactions in the room by placing a camera. Regrettably, the footage revealed further concerning behavior by the nursing staff. Additionally, when attempting to communicate with the nurses and inquire about our father’s condition, they would frequently move him while he was in a state unable to speak due to medication. Despite our attempts to contact them for days, they often ignored our calls and eventually told us to stop calling, leaving us without information about our father’s whereabouts and condition. What’s equally distressing is that not only did the staff witness Dr. Mills’ actions, but they also remained silent, putting my father’s life in jeopardy. The level of negligence, unprofessionalism, and disregard for patients’ rights displayed by both Dr. Mills and the hospital staff is appalling. As a result of these distressing experiences, we have lost confidence in Dr. Mills’ care and the overall standard of care at this hospital. We are determined to ensure that no one else in our circle goes through such distressing and unprofessional conditions. The conduct towards my father was inexcusable and requires immediate attention and improvement to prevent similar distress for other patients and their families."
"Visited a friend recovering in ICU. This place is so large and bustling. Wasn't the easiest to find parking, but overall, my experience was positive. All of the staff i encountered were pleasant and helpful. The hospital was clean. I am a little disturbed by the reviews, though. Because I personally use reviews , if given a choice, I would explore other options."
