"Horrible experience. Went there to get blood work done today before work. My appt was at 7:30 and when I booked it it said it would take 15 minutes. Thinking that I didn’t tell my job that I was going to be late because I thought it would be only 15 minutes. I get there and they only take cash which I had but they only take exact cash and I only had 2 50’s so I had to walk to Dunkin to get change because they couldn’t give me any at the office. So I get the change and they told me my spot in line would be held when I came back. I come back sit in the waiting room for 35 minutes and no one comes out at all during that time meanwhile there are about ten other people waiting also. I ended up having to leave without any blood work because I had to get to work. Also had to use PTO since I ended up being late. Also fasted and got up extra early to go to the appt. What a waste of time."
"Hit and miss. The urgent care is efficient I. That you can book your spot on line and they will text you 30 minutes before your appointment. So no waiting for 2-3 hours. The lab is another story. I’ve been using it for years. I get my blood work and I’ll in and out in 10-15 minutes. The last 2 times it was over an hour. They need a full time phlebotomist. I think they’re Yusuf go the same person between urgent care and lab. I’m done goi g there"
"I went here with a UTI when I was visiting a friend. I am not from the area. I inquired at the front desk before making an appointment as to the cost of the care for a UTI, as I was uninsured at the time and the front desk operator could not give me a number and seemed annoyed by this. Many clinics have a list of the cost for various tests, for the visit fee, etc. This facility does not. I explained that I could not pay much and needed a rough estimate to decide whether to drive in to Syracuse to find another clinic. They told me to discuss it with the doctor inside--and I paid $140 up front. When I told the doctor about this she told me to leave immediately because this facility charges you separately for using the facility and for the doctor's care, and that the charges would be through the roof. She wanted me to have a script for the UTI before I left and to run a culture, which I was assured would not be expensive. When I received the bill later--the charge for the doctor was $700 and the charge for the facility was another $500, after I had already paid $140 up front. They even charged me for a pregnancy test that I neither asked for nor was told I would receive. As I live out of state, I called several times looking to speak with someone about the charge for the pregnancy test and about the overall rate. Each time I left a message with the manager and never received a call back. They refer you to billing for the medical facility charge--but can do nothing for you for the doctor. The facility will work with you if you show them your tax returns and/or last several months of pay stubs, but I could not find anything to do about the doctor charge and could not get ahold of the doctor (I'm sure she would have charged less after our discussion during the appointment.) They should have charges listed and posted for those paying out of pocket and should not be hostile to questions about this. If the doctor knew it would be pricey, then the front desk team should know as well. Once you are in with the doctor you are already getting stuck with a bill."
"I have been here for various reasons over the past few years. The sign in staff have always been courteous, patient, and helpful. Sure there may be a wait but it's because they only have one or two doctors there at a time. The nurses are friendly and open to laughing at my husband's bad puns/jokes. The doctors are professional and I don't think we've come away feeling we were not listened to. They aren't an emergency room so don't expect hospital care. I found that out after a couple visits. They will refer you to your own physician for follow up if needed. Their hours are inconvenient at times but they are conveniently located so you don't have to travel to Syracuse or Oswego. As mentioned in another review there is separate billing fees for the Doctor and Urgent Care."
"After a week of moderate to sever pain in my stomach and abdomen I decided to stop here on my way home from work. The staff was courteous enough and the wait was not too long. I explained exactly what was going on, was told to take acid reducers, and sent home. Another week goes by and the pain was getting worse. Went to get a second opinion and within 10 minutes was told to get an ultrasound of my gallbladder. Long story short I will be getting my gallbladder removed due to sludge and polyps. This place is terrible."
