"My son went there a few years back when the schools were on the virtual learning schedule and he was around 3 years old. The center made it so easy for him to be able to attend while also having to sit with his tablet for class time. They worked together to make sure everything ran smoothly since there were a few kids that were doing remote learning. My son had some difficulties with speech and wasn’t talking too much but I can say with absolute certainty that being in Ms. Takiya’s class helped him so much and in such a short period of time. Even his school teacher realized how much more he was talking once he started attending Pee Wee. Ms. Takiya is very caring and actually takes the time to teach her students. She’s one of the best teachers my son has ever had and I can highly recommend her and this center for any parent who’s looking into childcare options."

"I am a teacher here at pee wee prep, however i want to speak from a parental perspective seeing as though my son attends the daycare as well. My son was in another daycare in bayonne, but i pulled him out because i was constantly called to pick him up over the smallest of things ( runny nose, bowel movements, allergies, etc.). I was skeptical of putting him in the same daycare I worked at because i was worried he would never leave my side. It is the complete and total opposite. My son rarely ever comes into my room to see me unless it’s time for pick up. That is how trusting he is of his teachers. My son came into daycare not being able to say clear words and now talks TOO MUCH lol and has learned his colors, numbers up to 10 animals and some letters and he isn’t even 3 yet. His teachers Mrs. Mervet, Miss. Sylvia, Miss Jade, and Miss Alyssa all do a fantastic job at helping him progress in his developmental milestones and are so caring and loving towards him. I trust each one of these ladies to provide the proper care for my son and more importantly he trusts them. Best decision I’ve ever made."

"Pee prep was my last resort to send my son. Unfortunately, I wanted to try him in a school setting so I gave in. When I first came in to take a tour it had a funny smell, like a public bathroom. I guess that’s ok because it’s a daycare setting but it just seems like there was no ventilation. I also noticed how small the toddler classroom is. So let’s get to it , the director Mark is great but he’s not the one taking care of the children. Ms. Tahkeya is also great but she teaches the older children. Ms. Kat is another nice teacher there but she’s there part time. Ms. Mervet is the WORST!!! If your child cries or whines a lot you would not want her to watch your child. She shows no emotions and is mute. She is not compassionate and plain simply to me is working for a paycheck. She’s dull and should not be teaching young children. Children should have someone with energy and full of life. I’ve came in multiple times and she NEVER said hi to me, she only keeps her head down. That’s when I realized my son must be a bothersome to her. If she’s still there I wouldn’t recommend sending your 2yr there but if they find another teacher I would probably give it 3-4 stars."
