For us, its the perfect blend of academics and play and know my children will be well prepared for elementary school after attending. The teachers and admin care so much about the children, you just feel it. 3 "shows" a year with handmade costumes, songs, and dancing allows the children to showoff their creative spirit. It's not a daycare, so hours are not all day, but if you're looking for a high quality, nurturing but academic environment, it's the ideal choice."

"The Outlook School is truly a hidden gem. Moving from Brooklyn to Manhasset, I was fearful that there would be a massive wait list to enroll my daughter in preschool. I visited the school even before she was born. From the moment I stepped into the school, I was really charmed by the warm and loving environment. The students seemed happy. They were sitting around in a circle, actively engaged in story time. There was a playground in the back yard that allows the kids to run outside and play. There was no obsession with teachers taking pictures and texting the play by plays to the parents that you see in other schools. It was truly refreshing from the start and I knew I wanted to send my daughter (and now my boys) there. The Outlook School is a solid school with loving and caring teachers and a principal that really knows how to get the students engaged to operate at their full potential. This is my daughter's second year at the preschool and she is flourishing there. She had severe separation anxiety before I sent her to school but after the first day at the Outlook School, she's been completely independent. She is taught at school to be kind and to have fun. She comes home singing , having memorized seasonal poems and songs, and she is able to recite the pledge of allegiance with complete ease. She started to practice writing her name and the alphabets at age 3 and has started to read at age 4 and is excited when she recognizes words she knows from reading time. She is extremely confident and proud to show me what she's learned each day. I am so thankful for the Outlook School and can't say enough about the school and the staff. If you are considering moving to Manhasset and in search of the best preschool, look no further. I would highly recommend starting your child on the right foot by sending them to this school."
