"This daycare is very accommodating for working parents. They are able to pick up and drop off the children if needed. The Afterschool program teaches based on kids personal level and will advanced through math and reading along with helping with homework too. That surely helped my kids with their advancements. Both my sons go there from nursery to afterschool now. It’s been 5 years and we are still with them! There's no doubt the staff is helpful and kind there. Like any other schools private or public, there will be shifting of staff with teachers and assistants. Also on the reviews about the upkeep of the school, through the years I’ve seen renovations being done to maintain the place. The staff does do cleanup to make sure things are cleaned. I mean, have parents seen the public city schools on site? They are much worse with their upkeep and maintenance. The director is very familiar with each child and family and willing to help out for anything if needed. The afterschool program director is great, she offers so many options to help out in further tutoring. We went thru the covid period with them remotely. That shows how parents can trust IBear!!"
"Primarily we chose this as our child's pre-K school due to the proximity to our house. However, they have proven to be a well organized, DOE strict school. Their instructors and schedule are very well thought out and by the end of the school year, our child was more confident, well socialized (which was a huge concern due to Covid pushing back our plans to send him to 3-K) and creative. We personally love Ms. Fiona as she does not show favoritism and kept us well informed of any issues in class. They also send daily posts on progress of the children and send weekly lunch menus giving you the option of either having your child eat school lunch or pack him lunch. I would recommend this place. Don't let the look of the school (looks like a house) deter you. The school is also open for walk throughs before you send your child."
"2 years ago, I sent my daughter here. She stayed for 1 year but in that time, i felt she learned a lot. The school emphasizes a more compassionate method of teaching and treats the studens less like just a number. My daughter has since moved on but I recently enrolled my twin boys there. They use a program called kidsnote to keep the parents updated on what they did and how the individual children faired during school. Highly recommend."
"terrible day care for children. unclean and never organized environmet and teachers never know how to care for children at all. the director has dreadful advice skill to the parents. Her knowledges of children care are like a just White Empty Paper. but Very Expensive though. I never recommend this day care. =("
"Like any parents, I was afraid to send my son to ANY daycare because he is only 2 years old and he is unable to fully express himself. What if people at daycare are not feeding him when he is hungry or offering him water when he is thirsty? I visited almost all the daycare centers around the area and I am very glad to have chosen this one. The teachers here are caring, smart, and creative! I met Ms. Angela, Ms. Catherine, Ms. Sara and Ms. Fiona (she painted the walls with beautiful pictures). They gave me a feeling that they genuinely cares about children. Their schedule is clear and organized. Their curriculum looks educational and fun. Every Monday, the children are taught simple words in either Korean or Spanish (soon my boy will be trilingual!). The best of all is that we were offered the promotional price because the school is new. I'm also very impressed because within 3 days of school, my son has learned how to gesture what he needs! That night my son made our jaws drop when he pointed to his opened mouth and said the word "EAT"! I was jumping up and down with joy. The downside of this school is that it doesn't offer breakfast or lunch (yet). They are working on adding a commercial oven to their kitchen and will be offering that meal option in a couple of months. By the way, they are open 7:30 to 6, perfect for working parents!"
