"So education is as individualized as a mental health treatment plan, or should be anyway. Every setting and every delivery is not for every child. As parents in NYC we have school choice and the ability to find the educational environment that is the best fit for our child's needs. That being said, Success Academy is not an a-la-carte menu as they've stated, it's all or nothing. Each parent has the ability to assess the best fit for their child. Therefore, what may work for one child may not work for another. Does that make the placement that did not work for your child all bad, no, it just makes it the inappropriate setting. Here's to children receiving the best education opportunities available, including the needed support services. When attending IEP meetings, please ensure that you understand the designations as well as the recommended services. Please not that every setting does not provide every support service and that may lead to further delays in your child accessing needed services if sent to a setting that does not providethe services that they need."

"Horrible school teachers. They don’t meet the kids where they are at academically. They leave kids back year after year killing their self esteem and leaving them feeling hopeless. they have 7 year old kids still in kindergarten. All success cares about is enrollment numbers and grant money. If your child has an iep this school is the place of doom."

"Toxic and dangerous environment. If you ask questions about your child's progress staff will eventually start to avoid you. Morning staff usually chooses which adults they will and will not greet. That's hurtful because no parent is more important than the other. I do not reccomend this network of schools. To them profits, numbers, scores and anything aside from family and school life balance is more important."

"If you want your child to be labeled at an early age this is where you should send them. it is only for children that are docile. if Icould give negative stars I would. the fact that the school has even denied the ability to file a complaint on DOE site is enough red flags."
