"We loveMaple Street! We've been there for three years and cannot speak highly enough about it. It is a child-led, play-based community school with a focus on social justice and inclusion. They quite literally changed our lives when we found them for our child who has blossomed there with the extra special attention of his teachers as well as the overall stability and love that the community offers. It was especially important to us to that Maple Street has pre-k so it is possible to remain at the same school from 2 to 4yo because it allowed us to build stability in his life. He still sees and adores his teachers from the 2's classroom even though he is in the 4s class. Equally important to us was small class size /ratios. Our classes have had a 3-to-9 or 3-to-11 teacher to student ratio. Maple Street also has a special education coordinator who has worked inside the DOE and as a SEIT and is an exceptional resource for families and children with any concerns or with an IEP. Maple Street has weekly music classes with a wonderful local musician dad. Such a special place!!"
