"The place is filthy. Understaffed. They run “tests” just to keep you there. Im an RN I wouldn’t ldnt send my worst enemy there. The PA in the ER was so put off. She should be working in a different department if her burnout is that bad. So obvious that she didn’t nt want to care for anyone. Just sit and look at her iPhone. Oversight committee is definitely looking past a lot of thinga that are right under their noses. There’s a reason the place is called the “kill zone.”"
"I was turned away from Atrium Urgent care located on n Gold Hill Rd because they were closing in 2 hrs and said they were booked and I needed to go elsewhere. I went down the road to Piedmont Medical Center to be treated for an injured finger that may need sutures. The receptionist was very pleasant. Nurse Kristen then brought me back to triage to assess finger and do vitals. Kristen gave me clean dressing for my finger while I waited for the Doctor. Dr Martin came in and assessed my finger and determine it would need sutures. He explained the process, numbed my finger and came back 10 mins later to sew me up. I can’t express how much I appreciate the treatment I received from the time I entered the building, until the time I left. I was given instruction’s on how to care for my wound and who to followup with in a few days. I was there around an hour! I’m sure there will be days when the wait is longer. I would absolutely go back again.. I just hope it isn’t anytime soon!!"
"Cut my thumb in September 2022 and needed stitches. Medical care was quick and on-point. No complaints and thumb was taken care of. Used insurance. Received a bill for $800 in November 2022. Paid it immediately. Received another bill by February 2023 for $233.10. Paid it immediately. Received another bill at the beginning of November 2023 for $30.28. Seems extremely questionable, but avoided the hassle and paid it immediately. Here at the end of November 2023, 14 months after the visit, I opened up ANOTHER BILL for $1,089.90. It looks like the original $800 was never applied. I went back and verified on my credit card statement to ensure I wasn't crazy. Their billing seems a complete mess. I'd go here if you're about to die, but otherwise, I'd avoid. Update: Despite the response to this message, I have NOT been contacted immediately. I did, however, call the customer service line and after wasting an hour or so, still stuck in billing purgatory."
"After being turned away by 4 urgent cares, I ended up bringing my 5 year old son here. He fell and hurt his arm, & I had a feeling he needed X-rays. I have to say I was very impressed with the whole visit. The front desk staff was friendly. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, so they had us back within minutes getting checked out by nurses, vitals, etc. We encountered several different staff members throughout our visit - nurses, doctor, X-ray, respiratory therapists; everyone was patient/kind & helped make this a pleasant experience. When they had to sedate him to put his bone back in place, a nurse stayed with us to monitor him until he was fully awake again, & several staff members continued to check on us after his procedure. Like I said earlier, I was very impressed with the visit overall; So, I just wanted to leave a positive review & say thank you to everyone who helped my son!"
"Been here a few times now due to a recurring health issue and all the nurses have always been so kind and reassuring. All the doctors I’ve seen have been knowledgeable and professional yet still empathic even when they are busy and spread thin. They took great care of me and were very attentive as I waited for a bed to open up at the main hospital. The nurses and techs showed a lot of compassion throughout all the testing and bloodwork they had to run on me. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I will say though-reception is hit or miss-it’s a toss up if whoever is at the check-in desk will have a friendly or sassy demeanor but it’s a quick interaction so it doesn’t bother me personally."
