"We were recently were "kicked" out of my son's infant daycare and the entire experience from day 1 was so traumatic i never want one family to experience it. KIDDIEHAVEN in north Tonawanda is past its prime and I implore you to spread the word. The issues include, careless accidents, staffing issues, billing issues, closures, constant temperature checking and fabrication of symptoms/fevers. In daycare, you're charged regardless of attendance, even when sick. My son went for only 3 months, and i easily missed 2 weeks of work due to send homes, or staffing issues. Based on my experience I strongly believe they are so short staffed and under experienced they send kids home to get paid for the day to keep the doors open when they don't have enough staff rather then just closing the facility so we as parents aren't charged. The owner is incredibly rude, unprofessional, lacks empathy, and is visibly agitated with the children and staff. This place years ago may have been a safe and stable option but without undergoing new ownership i would spread the word to friends and family to avoid at all costs. the stress of constant issues and phone calls and money and time wasted is only the tip of the iceberg."
"This is the worst daycare I have ever experienced. And it all comes down to the owner. The director is great. So my kid is a biter, he bit twice when he was there and when we signed him up they knew this. Ironically, that is not why we got kicked out though. My kid has fell there twice due to inattention/ short staff. Once with a bloody nose and the other time a bit lip. Both times the video showed it was due to inattention. I did brush that off, then the cancellations. They are short staffed and not reliable. They shut down early sometimes due to being short staffed. We did air grievances about this and the owner was not happy about this . Today, when my wife went to pick our kid up, the owner came out and said our kid had a fever and bit someone. My wife said he doesn’t look like he has a fever and they checked it on site, he didn’t. The owner then abruptly said that the relationship has been strained from the start, due to our complaints, and with no warning whatsoever she told us our kid would not be welcome there, no warning whatsoever. So we were left to find a new daycare which we have. All I can say is that I would not recommend anyone bring their kid here. That is not all. My wife and I have personally witnessed the owner yelling at kids. She then came out and said “don’t you just get so irritated by older kids ?” Probably shouldn’t run a daycare then. She is not only unprofessional but I have to think that she is the reason the place is short staffed. At this point after seeing her behavior, I believe this is a blessing in disguise. I still can’t believe we were kicked out due to an emotional response to feedback we gave her sorry excuse for a daycare, with no warning, on the spot. But it’s probably for the best, my kid should not be around someone like that. My advice would be definitely don’t bring your kid here"
