"This was my first time there for a cat scan ! From the front office to the technician (Kiyla) it was a great experience.. Thank you for a great experience when I wasn’t feeling well"
"I went in here on Wednesday, July 6th @ 3:30pm to get my x-rays done on my neck & spine. When I arrived I waited inline, I checked in at the reception desk with my photo id, my insurance card, and my x-ray order paperwork in my hand. Upon checking in, I was called back within a few minutes. The x-ray tech was really nice. I was instructed to walk behind a curtain to change into a gown, I locked my stuff in a locker and I got the key, then I signed a release form stating that i'm not pregnant. After my x-rays were done, I got dressed and left. I was in & out of here within 15 minutes it was by far the quickest, easiest doctor's appointment i've ever been to. I highly recommend them!"
"Incompetent/unhelpful front staff. My urologist failed to send Great Lakes my script so they made to go upstairs to WNY Urologist to see if I can get a paper one. WNY Urology was unable to and instead sent it electronically to Great Lakes. Went back down to Great Lakes only to be told I have to now wait for approval from my insurance carrier and to have a seat and they'll tell me when its been approved. An hour goes by...I go back up to the front desk to ask about the status of my approval and they told me its been approved by my insurance company. If I haven't asked them about the status of the approval they never would of told me and I would of been sitting there all morning. Surprisingly, those working in the back were extremely friendly and helpful which is why I give this place the extra star. Management really needs to rethink their hiring practices for their receptionist and the first impression that they are giving to patients. Besides what they did to me they were nasty to any patients who went straight to their window rather than stopping at the stop sign in front and waiting to be called even if there was no one in front of them. Many of them elderly."
"Disappointed in Great Lakes Imaging. I called last week to inquire about getting x-rays for my 2 1/2 year old. Was told that I did not need an appointment and to come on in when it was convenient. I rushed over there yesterday right after work and getting my son from daycare but was told that they cannot do x-rays on toddlers. The gals also said that I likely spoke with someone who was new and did not know that information. I would suggest that you train your staff better before you leave them to answering questions that they do not know the answers to."
"A regular “factory” for imaging. While everyone is efficient, the front office staff (or at least one of them) can be rude. The general attitude of the office staff is wait until I say so or else! It sets the wrong tone altogether. The technicians are competent but due to a lack of communications about a procedure managed to make an unpleasant procedure even less pleasant. Creating friendlier in office signs, having the front office act more cordial, communicating about the procedures more fully would make for a better experience all around."
