"I went to Living Word Academy for a year and a Half. I can honestly say that even after 6 years I am still dealing with the side effects of this school. There were two girls in my class when I first started attending the school. They had grown-up together in the church, and their families were close. Everyone in my class attended the church, teachers and students has dinners together, field trips were at a teachers house. Whenever it was brought to the attention of the principal that I was constantly being excluded, and bullied by the boys in my class, noting was done. Many other strange cult like actions occurred. Everything was connected, since I didn’t attend the church, I wasn’t part of the cult. I still have issues with disordered eating due to the actions that occurred in this cult. They honestly should be looked into."

"I went to school here K-12, as did my mom and her two sisters as well as all their children. Its a multicultural school that has a direct focus on the students relationship with Jesus Christ and how they even in their youth can further the kingdom and the spread the good news of the gospel. Most of the staff is of volunteer base and simply want to give of their time to better serve the children and help them draw closer to the Lord. There are many after school programs (art, music, drama, sports including volleyball and track) that are all put on by volunteers as well. Each morning starts with chapel where students get to worship and praise the Lord and then here a brief message by a member of staff - or one of their own peers about the goodness of the Lord! What a way to start the day! The students are taught to do whats right, be of good moral character and treat each other and everyone else around with them with respect and the love of Jesus Christ. It's a tight nit school and a great place to send your child to give them not only a good education but also to bring them up with a foundation of godliness."

Our three children have attended pre-K up through the early High School years. As student athletes I could not be more proud of the leadership and support our children receive. Most recently, our Varsity Mens Volleyball won Regional Finals for the first time in over 40 years! "My husband and I are alumni of Living Word Academy and we both attended from grades K-12. We now are blessed to have five children thriving there. All the staff and volunteers are strong Christians, and their number one motivation in working there is to serve the Lord, love the children and reach them for Christ while giving them the highest quality education. It is much more than a school, it is a family, with Jesus Christ as the foundation.
