"my 91 year old mother moved into our home last Friday - we purchased an Acorn stair lift and it has not worked properly since we had it installed 1 week ago. I call customer service only to be told that I am 12th in line, then when it gets down to the 4th person in line, it either hangs up on me or asks me to leave a voice mail. The tech came by today, told me it was fixed, said he just had to tweak a wire. it worked fine when he was here and then the minute we needed it to bring my mom downstairs it doesn't work again. Same error codes. Terribly dangerous for my mom."
