Family First Primary Care

"I've been going to Family First Primary Care since they first opened. Like clockwork i've gotten my physical there. Lately, i had to cancel my physical due to a business trip and went to reschedule. Family First Primary Care is making me wait 5 months to get a physical (set up appointment in October for February) . This is unacceptable and I wouldn't recommend going to Primary First for this reason. Not to mention the receptionists are always bitter and it's obvious they don't talk to patients with a smile. Better find a primary car physician that cares about their patients."

"Caroline Shore is THE BEST PCP ever! I’ve been going to her since 2018 and I don’t regret it! She’s so comfortable to talk with and nonjudgmental! She’s quick to see you and takes time to actually hear what’s wrong and let YOU explain it before jumping to conclusions (like some other people do). She may not be a doctor but she’s better than most I’ve met. She’s wonderful and I plan to have her as my primary care physician for as long as she’s at Family First! Front desk people are also always super sweet and helpful, on the phone or in person! Nurse Precious is the bomb dot com! She’s the nurse you need if you are worried about an appointment and/or need a pick me up laugh:)"

"Dr. Tang is incredibly compassionate, competent, and kind. She focuses on preventive medicine and is amazing coordinating your health care. Her staff is equally wonderful. Highly recommend family first primary care."

""I was dead asleep..." , says Dr. Thomas Curtis (the on call doctor) says to my sick husband who is calling about a pressing concern. He talked very unprofessional, rude and after 2 minutes of talking, hung up on him. We were in TOTAL disbelief! Dr. Curtis rushed through the conversation and my husband could barely get a word in to explain why he was calling after hours. My husband asked if he could explain a couple things and he said, " No, call back during normal business hours". When I called back to try and explain the issue at hand to Dr. Curtis, who is the doctor on call, kept cutting me off when speaking and was rude to me as well. He even threatened me that he would hang up on me too 30 seconds into my conversation with him!! I am writing this review to expose what just happened to us. This is shocking, beyond unprofessional and I would hate for someone else to go through the same thing when seeking help from your primary doctors office. I wouldn't want to be in the care of someone who treats me this way. I am speechless and didn't expect this reaction from Dr. Thomas Curtis. I will be reaching out to whomever is above Dr. Thomas Curtis in healthcare to file a complaint. This is neglect of a patient. ( Also, the third party receptionist, Kimberly was helpful and is aware of him hanging up on my husband because I had to call her back so she could call Dr. Thomas Curtis back after he hung up on us. She is a witness to this conversation) Dr. Curtis, you were in the wrong and the way you talked to both of us was inexcusable!"

"I am so happy my dad recommended this practice to me. Dr. Curtis is awesome. He's what I'd hoped to have in a primary care physician. Knowledgeable, caring, courteous, and even just an enjoyable person to talk to. Everyone else there, from the front desk to the nurses in the back are so kind and friendly. I'm really thankful for these people. Highly recommend."
