"The K-mart of Mental Health Consistently tries to force Christianity at *every* turn. Consistently denies medical sciences even when showed scientific proof. Only medication they give out is basically Placebo. Their "psychiatric doctors" aren't real doctors, all are people who lost their previous jobs due to being utterly useless. If you are looking for a place to offer aide, you won't find it as long as this company is attached to it."
"the world's worse company to work for. the end."
"When Broadstep acquired Bethesda Lutheran Homes for the Mentally disabled, it changed drastically and not for the good. I wouldn't put my loved one there. Look for another place. We loved Bethesda and my aunt was there beginning in Watertown Wisconsin from the age of 42 until 86 when she fell about a year and a half ago and was sent to a hospital rehab facility. Since the home she was in couldn't accommodate a wheel chair they dismissed her and didn't even try to find a place for her. A staff member was trying diligently to try to keep her there and then next day the staff member was gone. They just discharged her. My mother and aunt donated the proceeds from my grandfather's home to Bethesda because my aunt would always have a home. Bethesda had a fund raiser which my mother donated to for a cruise and so much more. We bought furniture for the group home to make it easier for the residents, too. It saddens me to see such a great facility and service be bought out by a corporation who doesn't care about their people who they serve. I wonder how they treat their employees. I also contacted the CEO with a certified letter which was a waste of time. Maybe they should visit their locations to see how to improve their service culture. Pat Landman"
"This place is an absolute JOKE ever since Broadstep came and bought Out Excalibur it’s been nothing but hell. I left for a year came back to the rules being changed and new management. we couldn’t do restraints anymore so the kids basically did what they wanted to do without ANY consequences management is terrible and messy nothing is sacred management would go tell your business to staff and it’ll be around the whole building. Be careful about what you do around certain people “lead staff” they’ll sit and laugh in your face like nothing happened That place is awful and dirty. If management don’t like you they’ll do anything and everything to try and get you fired. I wouldn’t recommend working here if you love working with kids/adults they’ll put a case on you just for trying to remove a kid from a situation that could’ve been worse than what it was."
