"Really enjoyed my first appointment with Alicja Sundblade, FNP-C. Starting with a new healthcare provider can be scary, but she and the entire Matthews Internal Medicine staff immediately put me at ease and provided high-quality care. They asked in-depth questions, listened, and at no point did I feel rushed. I am happy to have found a great new primary care provider!"
"Matthews Internal Medicine in North Carolina is a stellar private clinic deserving of five stars. During my visit, Doctor Alicia and her exceptional nurse, Ines, displayed unparalleled politeness and radiated positive energy. Their dedication and warmth made my experience truly remarkable. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking top-notch medical care in a welcoming environment."
"Friendly staff, wonderful physicians. Seeing Dr Eugene for almost seven years, great doctor even if he's incorrect regarding global warming."
"I get seen by Dr Eugene. He is the most caring and loving provider. Always attentive and quick to respond to my needs. Highly recommend this practice."
"I have been a patient at this practice for about 3 years. When you are in front of their face, they smile and act nice. But God forbid you need a medication refill or to speak with someone. You can leave messages via the portal, voicemails, and if u call and someone answers, they give you the run around and either tell you no one can take your call or your person u need is always unavailable. I have needed a refill called in for 4 days at this point, left a message in every way possible, and nothing has been done. I have even had a so called medical assistant tell me it was done, only to find out from the pharmacy they still have nothing from them. Taking your medication on time regularly is vital, yet they could care less if you run out and have nothing. There is truly no excuse for such laziness and incompetence. If you leave messages for someone to call you, they don't call you back. It is truly frustrating. Some of my meds affect my heart and my thyroid, so I can't play around with missing them. My advice is think twice before going here, especially, if you need many refills or have health conditions beyond a routine physical. I have worked in healthcare 30 years and have never seen anything like this."
