"My rating is based on the discriminatory actions presented by Terry Beale at Create My Massage. She denied taking me in as a paying client. I scheduled an appt for massage due to pain resulting from car accident. I discussed with her before hand on the phone and asked if she could write a brief note stating the massage would be due to pain from accident just so that it would be covered by at fault driver's insurance. I also asked her for a receipt. She told me there would be no problem providing the letter and receipt. I went in and had my massage and it was great-she was attentive and nice and I had a great experience. I could not wait to go back, unfortunately my browser would not let me book online and she is not one to return your calls when you leave a message until a day later. The only way for me to schedule was to call the business# randomly hoping I would get her in between clients. She sent me the receipt and note to my email and there was no issue...then she sends me this email and this is what it said and I quote "I do not wish to be apart of your lawsuit... I told you how to reach me when you can't get me by phone, it is not an urgency when I have provided free online booking for my clients and its very uncomfortable to see 5 missed calls from you. I don't think we will be a good fit working together going forward..." I could not believe it as she was so nice to me in person and we had no issues. I was waiting patiently all week to return due to my pain-she had the nerve to tell me in person that I have finally found the right person to help me. I went on to get my IT dept at work to update my browser so that I was able to schedule an appt online without calling her since that' seemed to be uncomforting to her. I booked an appt and she cancelled it the next day. I called her and she tells me she does not feel comfortable putting her hands on me and goes on to say that I am drama and that it is her choice who she puts her hands on. She then tells me I am putting my negativity from accident out towards the world and to her. She told me she refuses to massage me. I asked her why over and over and she had nothing to say except for calling me drama. I found her to be completely unprofessional at this point running a business but rejecting certain people for no reason at all. Her reason was I was too needy to call her 5 times to schedule. Instead of acting like a professional and calling to let me know not to call so many times, she finds every excuse in the book to not take me back as a client. I have NEVER in my life been treated in this manner by a business. Ive received many massages and the whole point is to relax. I would never return or recommend despite the many clients I had lined up for her. She might seem professional while she is massaging you and meeting with you, but after she can drop you just due to her discriminatory ways. She has yet to tell me why she rejects taking me in as a client- I cannot believe I went home and ranted and raved to my family about how wonderful this person is. Never judge a book by its cover or by a first meeting."
