"Having rec’d a letter from Atrium-a week before my last Dr Hobbs appt-stating I could no longer go to any of the offices in the Atrium system-I was blacklisted. NO REASON GIVEN. Now, I have NO DR. FOR ASTHMA OR ALLERGY OR XOLAIR INJECTIONS FOR REFILLS OR REFERRALS! —-After receiving the letter, I still had my appt.that they didn’t cancel and I was hoping i’d be given some reasonable explanation for the letter that I received. Just to let you know, I’ve been seeing Dr. Hobbs since late 2016 or early 2017. So, before this appt., I spent several hours answering allergy and medication questions upon their request. This information should have already been on file. (I spent 2 hrs the night b4, 30 minutes b4 appt and about 25 mins more with someone in her office, due to Dr. Hobbs running late, answering all the same questions. Wouldn’t you say that this is compliant?) Then, Hobbs asked the same exact questions again. It was a long appt, a waste of my time, money and effort leading nowhere. I finally said, “Are we going to address this letter?” I read it to her. (FYI: That’s just it-we’ve never had a cross word. I even followed her from one office to another! ) She said she had nothing to do with the letter or with the decision in the letter! What? -I have no medication refills. She wrote one additional script to handle a month. You’d think she was considerate, yes? No, it made the 2 refills I had on file invalid bc by federal law, the new script made the older script invalid and she knew this. She is supposed to be at the top in her field!!. I had been giving myself injections of Xolair coming up on two years-so I haven’t been in the office or caused any issues. Atrium /Hobbs let me down. Genentech had called them every day for almost 2 weeks b4 this happened-which seemed to make the office upset-but I had nothing to do with them. The Atrium/Hobbs office was remiss in filling out 3 yr obligatory forms, which they finally did. But that makes no sense since they had already decided that I wasn’t allowed to continue as their patient. I couldn’t get a referral to an another dr. and they just turned their backs on me. I had to go cold turkey off of one life altering med and two others. This renowned dr-as I have come to find out in my research-just literally does not care and the appt was bogus and I’ll have to pay for it, even though it was for no reason. (I did pay for the lousy appt.) I’ve been a loyal patient. The new office that I followed her to-yes there were a few problems at the beginning-2019-you do have to go round and round to get any help from them. Other offices do not. —-I wasn’t given any advance notice, no referral and not refills to help in this change over to drs who would continue my meds-which I’ve been unable to find-oh boy have I tried. I’m in tears right now. She doesn’t care. Having COPD & severe allergies that send me to urgent or emergency at least twice a month without my Xolair & she just dumps me. How could she do this? What was the reason for the last appointment? Also, upon asking, I was told I couldn’t see anyone else in the practice that I’d gone to before and Dr. Hobbs was adamant about this. (She knew about the letter.) She has made my life miserable. Beware of the Atrium system. Dr. Hobbs turned out to not care about me as her patient of many years. I wouldn’t go back to Atrium or Hobbs ever."
