"I don't know if they replaced the staff but I don"t seem to get the attention and care that I used to get. I never seem to get a live person on the phone and know one ever returns my calls. I will start looking for a new PCP."
"Dr. Rudyck may have been a fine doctor at some point, but she is past the time she can provide adequate care to clients in my view. I was appalled at how she and her staff treated my mother and me during the three times we had an appointment. Rather than treat my mother for dementia, and tell my mother the truth of her condition, and help me as her caretaker, Dr. Rudyck and her associates only asked about aches and pains and treated them individually. She overprescribed medicine (Lisinipril 2x a day and Meclizine (causes dizzines) so that my mother had fainting spells because her blood pressure went so far below 100 . The last time I took my mother to see her, the nurse said that the doctor was seeing a new patient instead and we would have to see a nurse practitioner. I told her that was unacceptable and she shrugged. I promised never to return. Now my mother has great care (Coastal MDs, Michael Hewgley) and she no longer takes dangerous drugs that cause fainting and dizziness. She was able to accept her diagnosis (vascular dementia) and she hasn't fainted or fallen again. We have hospice care at home which Medicate pays for and a host of professionals to take care of mom and me."
"I first learned of Dr Rudyk from other nurses who told me they would not take their parents to anyone else. She and her practice have cared for both of my parents. She is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Above all she treats the elderly with the dignity and respect they deserve. I highly recommend her."
"I have worked with Dr. Rudyk professionally for over a decade. In that time I have known her to be a caring advocate for her patients. But when she became my grandmother’s doctor until the time of her passing, my family and I got to experience her care on a personal level that was deeply moving. I would recommend her as a doctor for any older adult looking for a physician who will be honest, loving, and caring."
"Dr. Rudyk is a phenomenal physician! Specializing in geriatrics, she has a special place in her heart for the older/elderly population, and is passionate about the health and quality of life of her patients. A bonus to having her as your doctor is that she has hospital privileges and is the Medical Director at a few of the skilled nursing facilities in town, so if you end up in the hospital, or needing short term rehab or long term care, she will continue to follow your care and be your treating physician every step of the way. You can count on her to always be honest and on your side. None of her patients are "just another patient" to her. I highly recommend Dr. Rudyk as a primary care physician for any older adult."
