"Very disappointed in the experience. I bought a new computer at Best Buy along with the one year Geek Squad service. They transferred the data from my old computer to the new one ; took three days. When I picked it up Saturday the tech said everything transferred; just checked if I could log in. He acted like that was too much to ask ... they were not busy. Tried to pull up my data when I got home & could not so I set up another appointment the same day. Noticed at that time that the old 27" monitor which was in perfect shape had two large scratches mid left screen. At the second appointment the first tech pulled up the data using a process that one would have to be a computer programmer to understand. Told him this was unacceptable. Fortunately , another tech re programed the process to make it simple as it should have been to start with. I asked about the scratch & dust on the monitor. He claimed that the tech who checked me in 3 days ago wrote that the monitor had "normal ware & tare" on the screen ... really ?? Refused to help me out & said that was the way it was brought in. Made me feel like a liar who was trying to cheat the company . Well ; I got screwed... I have learned my lesson ; take pics of anything that you leave with any service business and have them put in writing that the equipment is in good shape . Nothing I could do about this but "eat it" . Was planning to donate the old monitor to charity ; had to place it in the recycle been instead. Greg"
