"Bought a 20 seer heat pump by Bosch at a good price,heat pump was superior to Carrier or Trane,at the time of purchase the air handler did fail after 5 years. Just cannot get the rebate that was promised. Contacted Duke Energy Energy Innovations is not registered to offer the rebate. This company is no longer in business,Buyers be aware of new start up HVAC companies got great price at the beginning, but the install was not done correctly after 5 years the air handler had failed due to an incorrect install. The Wilmington area has a number of HVAC companies,I really like the Dixons they are fair and honest to deal with. The companies that advertise a lot on TV are charging from $1000.00 to $2000.00 more for the same Trane units that Dixon's installs. Do your research, when purchasing a new system I called three different companies for estimates inquiring on exactly what I was purchasing, hands down I saved over $1500.00 going with Dixon's!"

"When Cam came to our home in December 2016, he seemed very knowledgeable and was very friedly. He installed a new upstairs unit for us at a very competitive price. Everything worked great until last week, in the heat of the summer. The unit is unable to keep up. Cam has disconnected his phone. We contacted his former business partner and got his cell phone number. He answered and said he would send someone out on Saturday morning. That never happened and Cam is not answering his cell phone or returning our calls. I have been forced to call in another HVAC company to repair a unit that Cam installed just 7-months ago - and we have yet to receive our Duke Energy Rebate as another reviewer has stated. I came to Wilmington in 1983 as a UNCW student. I wanted to give this fellow UNCW alumn my business. He apparently is not a man of his word. I will be filing suite against him for failure to submit our rebate application to Duke Energy and any costs I incur from the HVAC company that repairs his faulty installtion of my brand new unit. Do Not Use This Guy!"

"Do not use this company. I originally rated this company a 5. Now after 8 months we have not received our $800 rebate from Duke Energy. I would rate them a zero because that is what we have gotten even though I have a contract that indicates i would have the rebate in 90 days. Obviously the management has not filed the appropriate paperwork and so far has stolen this amount from us."

"These people are amazing. Mitch repaired our 25 year old units twice before we decided to replace them. They installed up and downstairs units inside and out with coastal rated EcoTemp which are quiet, small, and 2 ton energy efficient in 2 days. The attic was 150 degrees but it did not deter them. They are polite, knowledgeable and neat. We have the highest regard for them. Plus they got us no interest financing for 18 months! Look no further for the best."
