"Been getting boats serviced all over the place for 15 years. I have been using Jeffrey Jones for about two years now as well as a friend of mine has been working with them on a significant build project. Jeffrey and Chris & the team are 5 star and the best place I have used. Smooth operation being run down there. Don’t go to that other place a few min down 16 Also, I’ve never reviewed anything on here, so go get your vessel serviced down there!"
"I own a 1999 pontoon. The 90 hp Honda engine died. 2,242 hours. Water in the oil equaled beyond repair. These guys found a new 90 hp engine when none were available. Of course this old pontoon boat needed more than just an engine. The pontoons were leaking. They drained the toons. Repaired the leaks and acid cleaned them. Installed the new engine and detailed the boat. Rebuilt the instrument panel and installed all new gauges. Also relocated the depth finder transducer. They did much more like making sure all the exposed cables and wiring re-routed and metal mesh protected from the elements. I posted a few pictures of the finished product. I don't know of anyone else who could have delivered the complete package I needed. Beside that Jeff, Chris and Chris are the nicest guys you will find anywhere. They busted their butts finishing the job in time for my grandsons visit last week. What can I say. . . These are good guys. If you want to get the job done right . . . give them a call Ernie Wright Mooresville, NC"
"I did a lot of research before going to JJMS. They had some of the highest reviews and after getting work done there I now understand why. Chris worked on my Mastercraft I purchased a year ago. I had to have them pump water out of my fuel tank after an amateur storage mistake. After pumping the tank, I requested Chris to check the engine as I didn’t want to have any issues for the summer. Chris followed up with pictures to show me some problems that were going on under the cowling. I got the boat back and she ran so smoothly. Some time later I did notice a leak from my prop. Chris responded to my text messages even on the 4th of July and helped to walk me through getting the boat out on the water despite the leak. I brought my boat back to him the following day. He gave me an average timeline (keep in mind this is prime season). He told me it would be at least three weeks out for the repairs. Two and a half weeks later I called and told him my dad who I hadn’t seen in a very long time bc of Covid was coming up to visit me and it really meant a lot to me if I could have the boat ready to go. Within a week Chris had my seal on the prop fixed but found out they had actually under charged me on my previous visit. They said the mistake was theirs, ate the cost, and replaced my seal for the price of the part. 25$ dollars later I was on the lake with my dad and JJMS now has a loyal life customer…"
"First time customer and very pleased to have found Jeffrey. I am restoring a 1975 Seacraft SF 18. Dropped the boat off last Wednesday night asking for a compression test to determine if the 2000 Johnson was worth it. Compression test came back good :) Asked Jeffry to pull the engine for the restore and drain the tank. Asked if there was any chance I could pick the boat up on Saturday. Thursday afternoon Chris the mechanic called and said I was ready to go :)) Awesome! I have been involved in aviation for a long time and it is critical to know you can trust your mechanic, because your backside depends on it. Same with your boat, especially when using it in isolated areas or offshore where help is not, just around the corner. Kudos Jeffrey and Chris"
"We have had Jeff take care of our boat and Jet Ski for the last 4 years. They are very responsive and reliable. I really like being able to talk with Jeff directly about repair issues, and I feel like he cares about his customers unlike some other places where I have just felt like I was a number in line. I would definitely recommend them based on our experiences."
