THEN THEY TELL YOU NOT TO DO THAT.WHEN YOU DO LEVE A MESSAGE BY THE TIME THEY CALL YOU BACK YOUR DEAD. OR IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. RATHER DR 1 1/2 WAY TO BETTER DR IN CHARLOTTE ."
"Carrie Voedish as always didnt make wait long for my appointment and was prepared. The recent medication she prescribed is working well with the help of her nurse "Elise" which is always very thorough and always follows up was able to get this medication approved through BCBS which was a hurdle in its self. So, yes great team at Asheville Gastro!"
"This was not my first experience with this practice, and prior experiences haven't been great, but my recent visit was excellent. I'll admit that making an appointment took a long time and was difficult. Everyone I interacted with this past Thursday was pleasant and helpful. I saw Dr. Cender, who is always terrific. One person I'd like to mention specifically is Sheila in Scheduling. She went above and beyond getting my procedure scheduled for the near future. She was friendly and helpful, and she eased my anxiety, which is an enormous blessing."
"I could not in good conscience give this facility more than two stars due to its poor billing practices. I had called our insurance prior to my husband having a test done here so I knew what to be expected. We paid $250 prior to the procedure before they would even do it, which left a balance to be paid afterwards. I got a bill in the mail for $276.14. I immediately called the number on the bill to pay and spoke with a supervisor named Lori. I reviewed the bill with her several times and authorize the payment of $276.14. Upon checking my banking account a week later the billing company had actually taken $306.09 without authorization. I immediately called in and spoke to the supervisor. LORI Who called me a liar, and stated that I did not have a bill with that amount on it, and that I had authorized the payment, none of this was true, and I asked them to pull the phone call because it says that you’re being recorded. After many phone calls to digestive health partners, Marie was very helpful and she refunded the over amount to me. She also gave me a number for the owner of the company by the name of Cyndi Walker, for Medicus billing and consulting, which is a contracted company. I alerted and spoke with Cyndi and reported what had happened in the poor customer service, and the illegal fraud of overcharging without authorization, and she was very cold and unprofessional and not concerned. Beware!!! In the future, I will never give them my debit or credit card number, but I will pay with cash or check only to the facility!! Do not give them your banking information information to the billing company contracted unless you want overages and charged more!!!"
"Had my first appointment yesterday with Virginia Waymouth, it went great. She took so much time getting my history and all the meds my doctor in Montgomery had tried. I felt embarrassed taking so much time, but she said I was her last patient of the day. We are going to try something new, if it works, it will be a miracle after years of suffering."
