Reviews of M. Scott Gardner D.O.
"Over the years I have been to many different doctors and their offices all over the country as well as abroad. This is hands down the best I have came across including the staff. The office staff has been extremely helpful and patient through my multiple concerns and questions. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a regular provider."
"Dr Gardner was my father's doctor and he was so very kind to my Dad during the final weeks of his life. Dr. Gardner was very quick to assist our family at the time we needed Dad to be on hospice care. He took care of it in a timely manner even though he was on vacation. Our family will be eternally grateful for Dr. Gardner's assistance in our time of need."
"Dr. Gardner is the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. I have suffered under his care for years. At some point I realized that going to him was the same as not seeing a doctor. He referred me to the hospital over my diabetes constantly instead of helping me manage it. Gardner was dismissive, His staff is rude. They dismissed me from their practice and lied saying that I left his practice. I wanted a referral to a specialist for my diabetes since it had been out of control under his care for years. Why would I ask for a referral if I volunteered to leave his office myself? The discharge letter said he would treat me for 30 days. When I called they said they won't give me the referral to a specialist for my sugar which is an emergency at this point. They said they would refill meds but that was it. What meds? The meds he gave me forever ago and I called to tell him that they weren't working? That my sugar was around stroke stages all of the time no matter what I ate or did? To be clear, I'm fine leaving his practice, I've stayed because I work alot and never have time to mess with finding one. I am not ok with lying, the unprofessionalism, and the years of neglect. If you want to discharge a patient, don't lie as to the reason.. just be honest. I'm not sure what's going on with his office, but I think an investigation into his practices is necessary. I was told for a year to change my lifestyle to fix my health. Lifestyle change and diet did nothing for me. I am very health conscious, the first thing I did was make lifestyle changes. Dr Gardner and his practice are a joke. I am happy to be finding another doctor. If you're thinking of going to Gardner, ask yourself if you want to risk going through all of this with him. He is more of Holistic doctor, if you're into that then you should consider his office. If you have or believe you have medical conditions that may require care and medication, any medications, then maybe choose another doctor that will actually give you that care. Gardner just refers patients out to other doctors or hospitals when you require anything more than a speech about lifestyle changes."
"Doctor Scott Gardner treated both my parents over their last ten years with dignity and respect. When my doctor retired he took me on as a patient and every visit has been thorough and caring concern for my continued well being. He stays up to date on the latest treatments especially for the elderly."
"Scott Gardner. He is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients, he doesn’t do pain medication! He will do whatever he can to diagnose a problem or get you into a specialist who can. I have NEVER been to a doctor who cares for his patients as much as him and his staff do! They treat you like family, instead of just a patient."
