Mc Fees Electrical Services

"As a Licensed electrician you should ask what electrical service the customer has (Duke Energy) and be educated on the differences/requirements between Duke and Four County Electric (they didn’t even ask and we didn’t know there was a difference). We are not electricians..hence the reason we hired them. So the outside panel box WE bought (saving money) was not MEG approved via Duke Energy but Four County it doesn’t matter but again we didn’t know this as we are NOT electricians. So needless to say Duke technician could not approved the job until corrected! Not to mention there were a couple of other issues as well but not as major as the wrong panel box which this business saw and approved/installed. If we had of known and the electrician was up to par on said requirements we could have exchanged panel box prior to installation but now it’s a USED useless panel box to us! This company appeared to be on their A game until inspection failed and then their TRUE colors came out! Do NOT use this business! It’s a 3 ring circus act at best! There is so much more I could share but I’m sure you get the jest of our experience! Hand shakes and your word mean NOTHING to them! Lesson learned! We reap what we sow!"

"I called to have an estimate for my project and they showed up the very next day. On the day of the installation they arrived on time and got right to work. I had a large project that spanned more than 7 hours and they worked efficiently, even crawling under a tight space under my deck to get the job done. I would highly recommend this team for any of your electrical needs."

"We contracted McFee's to replace all the wires in our house after the damage from florence, The house was down to the studs, they said it would take 2 weeks, but took over 6 weeks with several failed inspections. Also they did not replace but maybe 10 wires in the whole house. We had boxes that were still rusted out and wires that were rusted. Never showed up when they said they would, also smoked in our house, we found cigarette butts in the house and in our attic. We were completely lied to from the beginning and was over charged for services that were never performed. Plus money was demanded even though they did not do their part of the agreement. Trying to talk to them was impossible and refused to talk about them not doing their part of the agreement. If you are looking for electrical work, buyer beware! I give a 1 star because they don't have negative stars."

"We needed some can lights, patio lights and security cameras installed; they were reasonably priced, on-time and completed the work in a day with no mess left behind! Veteran owned and several generations of McFees doing the work at the same time. Very happy with the service."
