"Spells originally installed this unit on my new home a couple of years ago. Heat pump wasn't working correctly so I gave them a call. A few hours later. the tech showed up. Ended up being a bad capacitor and the part was under warranty. To me Their service call fee and labor was fair. Especially to show up that quick. "Expect to pay double to triple the price or more with this company, stay away. They replaced a contact and a control board and charged over $800, 2 months later the contact got stuck and heat pump ran for 24 hrs or more. Now they want to change the compressor [thats under warranty for $1800 or replace the heat pump unit for $4800 . Almost fell for it . I ordered the same control board and contact for a total of $60, stay away!!"
"This company is the worst company. I called them on Monday July 25 2022 and they came out on Tuesday the next morning. The issue I am having and still having at this present time, is, My thermostat would read a high inside temperature then what I would have it set at,to cool. So therefore my unit ran consistently thru our the day and would never get to the actual set temperature to cool down until later at night. Cool air was still coming out my vents in my home but not cooling. My thermostat would literally read 83 inside temperature and set to cool on 74 and would not cut off as it had been doing like it suppose to. When the tech arrived at my home on Tuesday the first time that morning I explained everything that was going on. He checked my unit said everything checked out ok. My filter was the wrong one so they needed changing and the vent covers thru my home needed to be changed. He cleaned my coils I guess thinking that could be the issue. Everything checked out as working properly as he stated. My bill was $307.09. Later that day I noticed the same problem I was having was still going on. I called the tech told him nothing has change Im still having the same issue. He came back a 2nd time that day rechecked everything but actual went under the home to check things that time which was the only thing diffrent. A long story short couldn't figure out why it was doing what it was doing. On July 28 a second tech came out changed my filters checked the same things the 1st tech checked, finished up a deep cleaning he noticed what I was talkin about with the thermostat. He still couldn't figure the issue out. I called the office back the lady I spoke with stated to me after speaking with both technicians they done all they could do. As of July 29th I still have my issue and they got payed. I asked if I could speak with the boss or some type of upper management the lady stated I couldn't talk to him at that time he was out on a call. I gave a 2nd number to be contacted at just incase he called. Let's just say no one have not yet contacted me at this time. Im very disappointed in this company even though they came out and still couldn't fix my issue I feel that I should be reimbursed some of my money back from them not fixing my issue."
