When I needed some work done at my office that was very time sensitive he had someone at my office very quickly and work was done right the first time. He always asked me, after his people have done work for me, did they show up on time, were they courteous and were there any issues? This guy cares about his business and his clients. "We made several attempts to get an estimate for an electrical job associated with the install of our HVAC unit. Shannon very nicely apologized for the delay and promised to get us an estimate. The day of the install of the HVAC unit we still hadn't gotten an estimate, but Shannon returned our call that day while the other contractors were there. He didn't remember the job, we had to remind him who we were. He said "oh yeah, it's a straight through the attic job" and gave us a reasonable verbal estimate. He sent someone to the job and it was done that day. The job was not satisfactory. A month later we received a bill by email and it was 3X higher than the verbal estimate Shannon gave us. I emailed Shannon back and asked him to call us to discuss the bill as it was 3X higher than we were quoted. I did not receive a call back. Today I received another emailed bill, I again asked for a call to discuss. Shannon called and had a very heated conversation with my husband, a completely unprofessional conversation. Shannon did agree to drop the price of the invoice by about $100. Although we felt it was still completely unfair and over priced we agreed to pay the lesser amount. We requested a revised bill and agreed we would pay it over the phone as soon as we received the email with the revised price. Shannon refused to send a revised invoice. He wanted us to pay the agreed upon price and he would mark the original bill as paid. He said we could trust him to do that. In our experience with him, he was not trust worthy and we asked for a revised bill again. He absolutely refused to sent a revised bill. I paid the bill IN FULL, the entire unfair amount. Our experience is this... Over priced, dishonest, unprofessional. We will never use Roberts Electrical again, and don't recommend you use them either."
