"I went to the dentist for the first time to establish care. I had a horrible experience with the front desk lady named Ana. She called me twice over a bill that the insurance didn't cover for Xray. We were never told that x-rays won't be covered BEFORE THE VISIT. We went for routine cleaning since our former dentist didn't participate in our plan any longer. As a medical provider, I have never had anyone speak to me so rudely and arrogantly. She told me she called me "25 times and I "keep giving her excuses over the balance!" She added how were they supposed to know it won't be covered and that we should've known. She only called me TWICE! Apparently, it may have been that we had X-rays done with another dentist and I told her yes maybe but when I called insurance, they said it should be covered and our plan changed also. Again, she speaks loudly and says okay "If you don't want to pay, no problem I will send to collection" and hangs up on me. I called back and someone else answered and said oh she didn't hang up maybe phone cut off, but she abruptly hung up saying okay I will not call you again! And she gets on the phone to tell me the phone cut off meanwhile she said what she said, but I politely just called to ask for her name. I'm disgusted by her behavior and how she handled the problem, and this is not the way any patients or their spouses to be taken care of. All of this because she didn't check insurance to check coverage and then it's the patient's fault. Will never go back unfortunately because of this particular person who has no manners and doesn't know how to speak to patients. Again, the dentist, Dr. Vadim saw me and my husband briefly and I have nothing bad to say about them but this rude front desk in the Lynbrook location is horrible!!"
