"This company was contracted through our home warranty company. We had a small leak from a pipe in the wall. They opened up the wall and told us that we had to evacuate the house because of “deadly” mold from visually looking at it. He said he would have to remove part of the concrete slab to fully remove the mold from our house. He told us it was SC law to contact a mold specialist to remove. (This is not true) He called and had someone at our house in a few hours. Turns out this “mold removal specialist” is really his wife. We got a 2nd opinion and there is not only no mold but was a quick pipe replacement job that was fixed in less than an hour by another professional. Him and his wife (3 reasons environmental) are running a SCAM."

"Contracted through Choice Home warranty. They came out because I didn't have hot water. They said it was the gas valve. They came back and put the valve on and then said it was another part, which they took with them. But they reported to Choice Home that I said someone came and took parts of the water heater which was a FAT LIE. They get paid through the warranty company so they create more damage. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the hot water heater to be replaced by another company. Trashy business."

"Wasn’t sure what service to list since Crouse didn’t actually fix anything at all. They told me they needed to put a camera in my wall to identify a leak($400 something dollars that insurance wouldn’t cover), made me wait 4-6 weeks before actually doing the work, then told me I had mold on my house and I should leave. Well it turned out to be debris, there was no leak it was an issue with the dryer vent. There was no leak, the camera was a waste of money and I had a whole in my wall for over a month because Crouse is slow to get to it."

Not only did he fix the issue, but he also took the time to explain how to fix a separate issue I was having that my home warranty would not cover. He even got the tools out of his truck that I would need and showed me how to use them. A great guy and extremely helpful!"
