"Stopped by for quick lunch and delicious and quick it was! We risked it with a walk-in around 2 pm, and got lucky to get a table for five with a 10 min wait. The place is relatively small and has about five tables (which include three x 4 seater tables) Got straight to ordering which included Garlic Edamame ($7), Imo Tempura ($8), Gyoza ($9), Veggie Miso ($17), Kuro ($17), Tantan ($17), and Susuru Paitan ($16). All were delicious and I recommend getting all with Spicy Chili Oil ($1) if you enjoy spicy ramen! Service is quick and food arrives within 20 minutes. Noise levels were on the lower end and the staff is friendly and kind."
"We tried to find a table for 3 on a Tuesday night. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating so we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. We ordered the Imo Tempura, Takoyaki, Karaage, and dumplings for appetizers. We also got a deluxe ramen and Miso ramen. The food was phenomenal. I particularly liked the Takoyaki and Karaage. It had an intimate atmosphere and the staff were delightful. I definitely recommend visiting."
"Was surprised to find this little gem in Astoria! Place was quite small but the food was amazing. We tried the miso and kuro ramen, both with chilli oil, and they were great. The broth was very flavorful and light, which I love, and the noodles were thick and chewy. We also had the chicken karaage and they were light and crispy. Would come again!"
"I’ve eaten here two times & Both times I was left truly satisfied. The portions are generous & delicious. I’ve had their vegetarian option (which I did not photograph) prior & it was equally as delicious & generous with its portions. This time I had their Sururu Paitan & it was extremely tasty & perfect during a cold day. Definitely try their appetizers, I recommend the wings & gyoza (which was served on a skillet) The only downside is it is popular & there’s around 7 tables so you’ll sometimes have to wait 15-25 mins. Lovely infrastructure, feels very homey."
"This was our first time eating here and my family and I absolutely loved it. We came on a Sunday night around 6ish and since the restaurant is small all the tables were occupied, they had a sign in sheet and there were a few people waiting outside so at the end we ended up waiting around 10mins before offered a table, I suppose there is always a little bit of wait. We ordered 3 different kinds of ramen and all three were absolutely delicious, in comparison to other ramen I had in the area here they serve the plate full and I liked that. We also gave a try to the Shrimp Katsu bun and OMG those little buns were extremely flavorful, fresh & yummy! My only suggestion for this spot is going with time as there was only one lady taking care of everything, yes! She was hostess, she took our orders, served our drinks & food, also took care of the phone orders they should definitely have someone else helping her with so much going on, by the way she was very sweet and attentive and provided us with great service. I would for sure go back to try more of their listed items on the menu."
