"I've been going to the same high-end "salon" for years close to my job. I took a break from it during 2020, and working from home I cared less about my hair. Now that that life is back to normal, I figured I'd try to find somewhere more affordable that I can be happy with and closer to home. I'm used to making an appointment, waiting in a chair, being juggled around multiple clients, while feeling rushed ... but not here. Walked in 3pm and Ruben took me right away. Firstly, nice friendly guy, good conversationalist. As for the hair - I'll say for the first time in years I feel like I fully got exactly what I had been looking for. I think my hair looks great, and I'm looking forward to going back in a few weeks. It was the reviews here that made me pick this place, so figured I'd do a favor leaving one myself. Update 2023: Worth noting that I still go here."

"Sometimes I pass through Long Island to see some relatives and when I do, I come to this place. The owner of this place, Ruben, is such a nice & chilled out guy. It’s nice to see and interact with someone like that in a time where things are rough. He gave me a great cut which is hard to find nowadays and the vibes were nice, greatly appreciated. "I've come here about a dozen times, all over the past 2 years. Haven't had a single mediocre cut yet. Ruben usually cuts my hair and really takes his time to make sure my hair looks great. I like a simple 3 on top to a skin fade, and he fades it great, ending it off with warm lather and a straight razor, it's a really nice touch. 5/5, would recommend."
