"I will try to keep it as short and sweet as possible because Shatara has done so much for my Family and I it is so hard to capture it all in a review. My experience working with Shatara was exceptional. From the first day my husband and I meet her, she was receptive, informative, and passionate. She created a positive and supportive atmosphere were I could openly communicate and discuss all the questions/concerns I was having. Prior to giving birth she provided me with essential resources on breastfeeding, laboring positions and even helped me create a birth plan. The day I went into labor she was very responsive. I was blessed to have her in the hospital with me and my husband. My husband wanted to play a major role in helping so Shatara showed him things to do that would assist in the laboring process while she complimented his actions. Her and my husband worked together so well and all I had to do was focus on myself, the baby and breathing. I had wonderful birth experience (everything i dreamt it to be) and I don't think that would have been possible without her. After leaving the hospital, I had problems with latching and had a bad experience with the hospital staff resulting in a complete meltdown. I called Shatara she calmed me down and and helped me get the appropriate help. As a result, I have been successfully breastfeeding for 9 months now and plan to continue pass the 12 month mark. I love Shatara and all she has done for my family. I highly recommend her to anyone weather you are planning to have a medicated birth or natural. She will support you and advocate for your want/needs. I promise you getting a doula is worth it especially with Divine Doula Goddess."
