"Horrible boot store ed the owner is a true salesman. I work heavy road construction went in there looking for a good pair of boots. I told ed I usually wear logger boots and he talked me into a pair of red wings that I thought were very comfortable. We talked about what I do for a living for a half hour explaining all the types of elements I work in. Skip ahead 3 weeks I was marking centerline on a blacktop road that had been paved with binder 2 hours prior when I felt my feet start to slip I realized my boots were melting. I moved off to the side of the road and waited for them to cool off when I started to walk again I realized that the killings had melted into the soles. When I took the boots back to ed he instantly said well what do you want me to do about it this isn’t my fault! I explained I was not blaming him for what happened I just want to make this right after all it was 300 dollars. He then looked at the tag on the boot and said these boots are from 2015 those are 8 years old which made me upset instantly considering I had just purchased them 2 weeks before for full price. He was not willing to work with me at all on the problem and basically was calling me a liar in front of my 15 year old son which upset me to no end. Ed is a horrible man and won’t stand behind his products I never would have bought a boot thinking it would not stand up to the conditions that I work in. Would not recommend dealing this this liar and horrible business owner. Saw a old pair of boots on the shelf and didn’t care wanted them off the shelf then won’t stand behind his products."

"Great place to buy shoes! Staff is always very helpful, and even were helpful with my oddest requests and were very happy to help. Even when one of them had to go back and forth looking for the best-fitting shoes, she never complained and had my best interest in mind. Would definitely recommend this place."

"Montgomery Shoe Store has been the most successful privately owned shoe store in the Wyoming County seat of Warsaw. This man not only has helped many of his employees go on & become successful in their own rights, but it's also because Mr. Jordan always has the latest styles on display for every person from pre-K years to seniors that need special attention and help. He has inventory for all blue & white collar individuals across multiple employers from the local financial services industry, to the WCCH healthcare industry, to Wyoming County's largest industry, Agriculture. Plus, if you don't see the shoe, boot, slide, wedge, heels, or boat shoe your looking for, just let Mr. Jordan know, and I expect he will either run back to his office and return with a catalog, or he will know what shoe your looking for and after he has you sit so he can measure each foot and then he will call you when they arrive, usually in days rather than weeks. I pray that when Ed retires, that the next generation owners are as caring and dedicated to the stores success and future, because Montgomery Shoe Store is a Wyoming County Staple rich in history."
