"I’ve been going to Shalyn for several years now- for 20 years I’ve been coloring my own hair a medium auburn and being happy enough. I’m former hairdresser (like a million years ago for a hot second) who didn’t trust anyone after always ending up sad and feeling robbed every time I ever left a salon. It was terrible and always caused anxiety for me. …..but I saw Shalyn for the first time for a keratin. Eventually we talked about color and I told her my fears and experiences. So, we started out slowly, doing a few highlights here and there, and she was careful to make sure I was comfortable.
