Merryland Buffet

"Well let me tell yall the other day my family and I wanted to get something to eat around the area with the kids. So as we eat and we on our second plate my nephew saw a RAT run right into the store as the place was packed with people and they did nothing. So my nephew and child freaked out and was telling us what he saw. The owners and workers were trying to keep the kids shut by giving them free ice cream. DO NOT EAT HERE… we all ended up sick with upset stomach"

"The food like the chicken was raw I came hear on a family outing and their meat was pink and bloody now while some people wouldn't care I did because I am pregnant and when I complained about it out of everyone who I went with with was(my mom,dad,lil sis,lil bro,daughter and husband) they only gave us a barely discount on my daughter meal(6 years old) but even though we all complained about the meal they just seemed like they did not care regret not starting a law suit as soon as possible cause the time I'm posting this I only just went last week again I am pregnant and I had my daughter with me (6 years old) and my little brother (12 years old) so I am extremely angry with how the situation was handled. I'll add the picture of the pink bloody meat once i find it."

"For this to get the best review of all the Merryland buffets is a crime. The fact that they charge tax on the food is also something I have never seen before at the other 2 Merryland buffets. It was a quarter cheaper than the other 2 but the quality wasn't what I was expecting and the place was so small. They didn't have anything really 2 drink now we did get there a half hour before they closed but the other 2 seem 2 be run a lil bit different and I feel is a lil more better. No parking anywhere this place us on a secluded and dead block on Fordham road."

"I really do recommend this restaurant. The ambiance here is unlike any other restaurant I've been to. I really enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious, and it's tucked away hidden in a dark alley. You'd never know this hidden gem was there! They had the best jingle playing outside the buffet and it is going to be stuck in my head forever. Great marketing."

You pay before you eat or begin filling your container. The cost is $13 per person to dine in, different priced containers (about $9-11) for takeaway. Drink and a banana is included with takeaway. Standard offerings for an American Chinese restaurant."
