"I’m sorry I’m leaving this review because Giancarlo is a great person but I can’t say the same for his team. Blerta was supposed to do my hair and we agreed not to do highlights, but only single process on the roots, and when she started using foils, I asked her why she was using foils,SHE YELLED AT ME. All I wanted was to do my roots and toner and no one asked to use color on my hair but they did. The girl that manages the place knew the formula, because when I was there last time,she told to another hairdresser, to use the same formula but this time my hair came out very very dark something I didn’t ask for. When I got home, I saw that my hair looked not even close to what I wanted. I called to let them know that I was not happy with the result and the same manager told me to go in and fix them and when I got there, the manager disappeared, and didn’t come out at all to at least listen to what I had to say. All of them started telling me that this was what I’ve asked for and that my hair looked ok and Blerta laughing on my face the entire time while I was explaining and telling me to go do my hair somewhere else. I sure will Blerta because you guys failed doing your job properly! I paid $300 to not get the attention blonde hair need and stayed there 4 hours to get my hair dark and to be treated like they were doing it for free and they couldn’t wait to get rid of me but instead of chitchatting behind clients back try to do your job better with other clients because I’m not stepping there never ever again!"

"I used to go to Blerta all the time when I was blonde. The last time I went, I didn’t have any tip money because I had to buy a metrocard last minute. (I already felt bad about it but I had enough for my hair of course) She later sent me a message on Instagram saying that it was fine if I didn’t want to tip her but to please tip the assistants that helped her because if not, it would have to come out of her pockets. I always left a tip before so I found this to be so unprofessional and made me never want to go to this salon again. I believe in tipping but it was a honest mistake and made her lose a loyal customer"

"I love love love this salon. I have been going here for YEARS. They make me feel like family every time I go. Every hairdresser is absolutely great at what they do so you can’t go wrong ! Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very professional and place is very clean. Go! You will not regret it. I have very long blonde hair and even with doing highlights/ombré every couple of months, my hairdresser Blerta has been able to keep my hair long blonde and healthy with no breakage for years!!"
