"I had knotless braids done. First off they use tooo much jam/gel on the scalp. I was very vocal about how I wanted the hair to be because of past disappointments. As soon as I try to express myself, the owner shuts it down and is very patronizing and condescending, as if she knows exactly what you want. As soon as I finished the hair, I told her that she did not do it as I wanted.. she then proceeded to tell me that I should’ve said something earlier when I had spoken up twice and even before I got my hair done exactly how I wanted it. When I first spoke up, she shut it down and said to give her a chance to complete it, and I’ll see how nice it is. The owner was very condescending and rude when I told her that that wasn’t exactly what I expressed to her and continued her conversation on the side. I wish I had listened to the reviews before I went. The business owner is very condescending and rude. There are many African salons in the area; please save your time. If you decide to go there, be sure to interrupt her every second, even when she is sure that she knows what she’s doing, because she clearly doesn’t. Customer service is nonexistent, and the owner's attitude will be the reason she doesn't have return clients."

"I needed a home braiding service for my two kids, so I called this saloon today to inquire if they provided home braiding service. I was happy to receive a response yes! So, I inquired what was the cost like, and I did receive a surprise response of 2000$ which I think is outrageous for the service. Hence, I declined politely. However, to my surprise! I received the most insulting and abusive response I ever experienced! The lady went on rampage and started insulting me stating “why I could not bring my daughter to the saloon and so on even though they are sick” I was just wondering why is it so mandatory for someone like to her to be this insolent, undisciplined and brassy. Could she be the owner? I cannot say… I would recommend some professional training to the barest minimum on basic tenets of customer relations."
