"I brought my elderly sister to Excel Salon to get her hair cut. I was told the person who would be cutting her hair was the owner. My sister asked for an angled bob and the owner gave her what she wanted to give and by no means is that right. We also asked if she would be willing to wipe down her area before she started because the previous customer who was in that chair, had just sneezed all over. Unfortunately, we were told that was not necessary and that wiping down her counter space was not something that was needed to be done. She even shrugged her shoulders out of anger. That was super unprofessional and I should have taken my sister elsewhere after all that jazz. Also, the scissors were super dull and only chopped my sister's hair up. We will not be coming back to this salon ever again!"

"Just got my nails done here. Acrylic set. Everybody was truly sweet but in all honesty, technique was sub par and not at all worth the painful $70 total i paid. My nail polish looks clumpy and applied badly, glue all over the underside of all my nails and the edges. Each nail is either crooked or filed unevenly. Not to mention 4 cuts on 4 individual nails from vigorous filing. I have yet to find somewhere around here that can do a good job with acrylics. I called to speak to someone, was told I was going to speak with the manager. Then I hear them complaining in the back about how I “don’t like them” as if that was the problem. No, I paid $70 for something done that was worth probably $25 if that. Then I was put on with my nail technician, really? Im not here to insult her, nor am I here to be told to come back. Why would I come back to the place that messed up so badly the first time? Nobody should have to pay $70 for a job that im going to practically have to redo on my own. Everybody was so sweet but the second I called with a problem, nobody wanted to maintain that same customer service besides my nail technician, who, I unfortunately do not want to go back to. A true shame."
