"It was time for me to find a new dentist. It would have taken me a while longer to find one if it wasn’t for my sudden mouth pain. Dental Excellence of New York (Dr Robin Hur) was recommended to me by my husband. Making the initial appointment was easy, they were able to fit me in their schedule, and I got a text to confirm my appointment. On the day before my appointment, I got an appointment reminder text as well. On my first visit, I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff, Hope. The hygienist was very gentle with the cleaning and my gums didn’t bleed. X-rays were taken and I spoke to Dr. Hur about what was causing the pain I was having in my mouth. I liked how he listened to my concerns and how we discuss what to do. I also like how he talks thru the process and it put me right at ease. I’m glad I made the switch to Dental Excellence of New York. I recommend going here to my friends and family."

"I dont have google, so I am using my brother's phone. The Dr. that does the Invisalign had me wait almost 2 hours. When I get in the chair, she looked so drugged, disheveled, and unprofessional. I walked out that room and complained, and the office manager, I believe, apologized and gave me a bag of toothpaste samples, etc. Toothpaste! Really!? That place needs to be investigated. Never again. They better not bill my insurance because I did not let her touch my mouth!"

"I had a root canal done almost 2 years ago and had a crown put on by Dr. Hur. My insurance covered for the basic crown and I was told if I pay $200 more I can get a better crown that will last 5 plus years. I bit into a soft cheese doodle and my crown broke in half. I feel the crown paid for by my private insurance was placed and my money was pocketed. I didn’t receive the so called better crown. I feel cheated. After seeing the doctor for this problem a pre-determination will supposedly be sent to my insurance company. Usually a crown suppose to be good for 5-15 years. The doctor doesn’t want to take fault. He only thinks about the money and not patient care or patient satisfaction. They use the cheapest materials. Update: I called my insurance company and the pre-determination was never sent! What games are being played?"
