"I used to like the place very much, but I think the ownership has changed. I ordered roast pork and soy sauce chicken leg rice. The chicken had no taste and the roast pork wasn't the same. I handed a $100 bill to pay. I expected the guy (cashier) would hand me back the change, but he threw it on the counter, very rude."
"Take out for half roast duck is $16.50 but they charge you $22 to eat in. $22 does not include gratuity. A plate of veggie - bitter melon is $17. Service was so-so and meals are overpriced in my opinion. They tried to charge me $6 for 2 small bowls of rice which was corrected to $3. Would not go back to this restaurant again. Not very clean as well. Other customer gets a plate of peanuts but we did not get any because we are not regulars."
"This place is close to my house, I think that is the only reason I go there. The food is......ok! Once you go inside of the restaurant, you'll have to be very careful of the floor! The floor is greasy, very slippery, so be careful! There are around 5 and a half dinning tables in this restaurant for eating in, the problem is , there are no wait staffs available to serve you. If you decide to eat in, whoever is behind the cash register will serve you. Make sure to ask them to wash their hands each time they touch your plates. The last time I visited, I saw the back chef picking up a piece of meat from the floor right after he dropped it and put it with the other meat. I had no choice but to walk out. This restaurant is like the outside eateries in Hong Kong, where they can't afford to rent and must open outside. Even the cashier, who acts like a manly girl, can be very rude! Remember, she'll be the one serving you. I hear the customer calling her, "hey beautifu", in order to get a better service. This is a takeout joint only. If you want better food, take a walk further down to like 66th st and turn left to 8th ave. Where you'll find really authentic Chinese food. But if you're looking for cheap, fast, and ok Chinese food, this place will do!"
"The duck, roast pork fried rice, and braised bean curd were amazingly delicious and the prices were great too, especially for the duck. I can’t wait to go back. New favorite place for Chinese food in Brooklyn."
"It was under renovation recently and the ambiance improved not sure if it's under new management, but I see the same people there. I usually stop by when visiting my mom. They have authentic Chinese dishes and very reasonably priced. There are tables to sit when dining in and the staff is friendly and efficient. Nice family portions for sharing and they gift soup. They treat you like family. If you ask them for recommendations, you won't be disappointed! Always love stopping by."
