Taner Esensoy

Taner Esensoy, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics located at 142 Paraclete Drive, Raeford, North Carolina. Dr. Esensoy has a passion for medicine and a love for children, which led him to pursue a career as a pediatrician. With a background in Ankara University School of Medicine in Turkey and completing his pediatric residency at The State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Esensoy has been practicing pediatric medicine for many years.

Dr. Esensoy and his family relocated to North Carolina in 1996, where he opened Rainbow Pediatrics in Fayetteville in 2005. His mission was to create a colorful, fun, and engaging space for children to receive exemplary care. Dr. Esensoy values trust, respect, teamwork, and integrity within his practice, ensuring that both patients and staff are successful.

Outside of work, Dr. Esensoy enjoys international travel and is an avid soccer fan. He is happily married to Gloria, a clinical social worker, and has two sons. One son is a Georgia Tech software engineer, while the other is currently in medical school with aspirations of becoming a pediatrician like his father.

Dr. Esensoy believes in making patients feel cared for and valued, emphasizing the importance of the patient-provider relationship. Rainbow Pediatrics, under Dr. Esensoy's leadership, provides innovative technology and comprehensive services to ensure the well-being of all patients and their families.
