"I went into theMadison Avenue store. It is a very nice store, a little dark. Rhonelle, who helped me, was very welcoming and very helpful and went out of her way to be accommodating. I bought one shirt. I wanted to buy more but they don’t have anything in black or black and white. Everything was light blue or navy blue and white. I live in town and all we wear is black, so I was very surprised. There were a few interesting shirts, but most everything else you could buy anywhere else. They did add “a New York City specialty tax“ onto my bill. I had never heard of that and asked about it. Rhonelle had no idea but did get in touch with a manager and got back to me on it. It is apparently a legitimate charge, but when I checked my bills, no one else charged me that. I doubt that I would go back."

"I've been shopping with Alex Mill since they started in that small shop in Soho. Recently went back since I've been travelling. There was one fellow who was completely helpful and I ended up spending over a grand. Other times I've been there afterwards, the employees were no where need as helpful and proceeded to act "too cool"."

They were extremely knowledgeable about the product, found exactly what I was looking for and just had really great energy."
