"Golden Unicorn is one of the more popular Dim Sum places in NYC. There will be a wait to get in on weekends. Every weekend. If you don’t like waiting for tables, this is not the place for you. Anyone who is complaining about it being crazy busy on Feb 10? It was Lunar New Year AND a weekend. Of course there would be a crazy wait. The food is delicious and I’ve always had friendly servers. Is there sometimes a language barrier? Yes. If that’s something you aren’t willing to deal with- don’t go there. If you want delicious food loves by locals and tourists alike- Golden Unicorn is a great spot!"
"Yup. The hype is real. Make sure to come early. It’s a whole event waiting downstairs for your number to get called but trust me, if you get there before the lobby is packed you won’t regret it. Everything is delicious. I didn’t know they had a darn Peking duck station making lil buns. I always end my meal w some of the coconut jelly. Thanks golden unicorn!"
"Visited this Chinese restaurant for dim sum. Unfortunately, some dishes weren't served at the ideal temperature, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience was okay; attentive staff made up for it. However, the restroom lacked hand soap, a hygiene concern."
"Decent food but you’re mostly here for the Chinese banquet hall experience. I’ve definitely had better food elsewhere, and it is kind of difficult to get servers’ attention because of all the people. But the dining area is unique and it’s great for large groups"
