"Small and cozy hole in the wall feel in all the best ways. Service was great, food was even better. Definitely will be making this place a regular occurrence. I'd drive past every deli and sub shop in Smithfield and Clayton to come back."
"First visit. Owner was super nice and very attentive to his customers. Everyone there felt appreciated and valued as a customer. There’s a sign that it brings a bit a Philly to the area so it’s Philly sandwiches, Ruebens, French dips etc. There is a section supporting smaller companies with their spices and sauces which is a nice touch. It’s important to support local business. Small and cozy atmosphere adds to the charm"
"Great sandwich and fries. A little salty for my taste but delicious nonetheless. Friendly service .Great cookies and other food gifts available to purchase."
"This place is great, they have hot sauces and treats for sale , food is great hands down the best in the area. Matt the owner and his family are one of a kind. Dragon lady 《ashley》 is a great person too. You need to stop by and try it out"
"Jersey girl here. Decided to try Sak’s today for lunch. Ordered a pastrami, Reuben and a plain pastrami on rye with mustard. The pastrami Reuben had good taste, but was so greasy the oil leaked through the wrapping onto my clothes. My husband ordered the pastrami sandwich on rye, and had to explain three times that he ONLY wanted pastrami on rye with mustard. We took the food to the car and decided to eat it on the way home before it got cold. As soon as my husband opened his, he said it’s not homemade pastrami and it’s grilled and greasy. We ordered one side of chips and one side of fries. If you like over seasoned fried chips and fries, then this is your place. We could not eat them. Some of the homemade chips were even soggy from oil. For the two sandwiches, we were charged $25. A bit pricey and I certainly don’t mind paying more for a five star sandwich. Certainly not like the pastrami you get up north, but not a bad substitute if you’re craving a pastrami sandwich."
