"STAY AWAY FROM HELLO SMILE!! Specially the Woodside location. When my two kids their father and I arrived at this dental place, immediately was told by the front desk attendant that the father was not allowed to stay in, then he just left and waited outside. Office was supposed to be taking precautions because COVID. However, when I went to seat closer to where my son would go, my eyes instantly caught up one of the dental assistants drinking coffee. She saw I was looking at her while the hygienist was talking to me, but continued drinking her coffee carelessly around patients and staff in the treatment area. Meanwhile I was wearing two masks and a faceshield and parents were not allowed in the treatment room, but I guess she was allowed to drink near patients when they were being treated, putting them at risk. The dentist attending that day “Dr. Bunch” said he would only provide services if my sons took full mouth X-rays. He didn’t come to tell me but instead would send the hygienist to relay messages. I didn’t want my sons to take it and felt forced to do it. I didn’t want it to be taken on my younger son since he had some X-rays taken 6 months prior and I didn’t see it was necessary. I didn’t have a concern for him to take it at this time. When my older son was done with the cleaning, the hygienist came to tell me how it went. Dr. Bunch did not approach me to tell about the X-rays results or any treatment plan. I was completely ignored. What kind of dentist is this? As I was talking to the hygienist I asked if my other son would be next and he said the doc wasn’t allowing him to be seen because he didn’t take any X-rays. I asked to speak to the doctor. He didn’t come out before to tell me about X-rays results or treatment plan but came out to say he’s refusing to give my younger son treatment. Mr. Bunch said that if something happened to my son’s teeth he would be held accountable for not giving my son the right treatment. My understanding: “We need to have X-rays even though is not necessary at this time, so we can make money”. I said I just wanted my son to have a dental cleaning. Then he said: “ IF YOU ARE REFUSING YOUR SON TO TAKE X-RAYS, I AM REFUSING TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO YOU AS WELL.” I left and when told my son’s father that the dentist refused services. So he went back to the office and requested to hear from the doctor himself, the doctor told the attendant that he is busy and would be available after 3 hours. A complete disregard to a patient’s parent. THIS “DOCTOR” IS INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I asked to be contacted by the general manager, Dr. Attaie and it has been over a week and no one has contacted me. My advice: stay away from this clinic and any other clinic that says: “Empowered by hello smile” they are all the same company, different locations. They will force you to have X-rays, otherwise they will not provide you services!! Now Dr. Ali Attaie can say “thanks a bunch” to baldie Mr. Bunch for losing 7 patients. My sisters-in-law are not coming back to this place as well!"
"Very nice, friendly and accommodating staff. They really want you to know what is going on with your child by telling you everything they are doing every step of the way. Great dentist! Highly recommend"
"My last appointment was on Tuesday @10 am 11/20/2018 I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks before because my 5 yr old had been having pains on his bottom left side of his mouth. 8 days before his appointment there was a free dental screening in his school they gave me a sheet to give his dentist showing that my son urgently needed xrays and fillings I handed the pink sheet to the front (table receptionist) by the name of Alexandra Mera. Right away her smile changed into a serious face didnt even look at the sheet and told me with a serious tone *oh your child cant be seen today because he was already seen by a dentist* I explained to her it was a free dental screening and the school doesnt even have any access to any info with any health insurance she didnt really care to listen or even took the time to call nor check the health insurance. I then was upset because my son missed school for this app and he needed to be seen, I walked out with my son and called his school I spoke to the principal and she explained that was a free dental screening for the kids and they didnt charge any insurance. She gave me the number to call the person in charge of the dental screening and her aswell asured that they didnt charge for their free screening she asked to speak to the front desk lady to help explain that nothing was charged in my sons dental insurance, me and my son went back in I tried to explain tht the director of the free dental screening was on the phone and she refused to talk to her rolled her eyes and told me to wait a few mins ,,she walked to the back came back and told me if you want your child to be seen you have to pay for the xrays visit and so on. I then was worried and asked when can i reschedule another appointment then she rolled her eyes again and said with an attitude (6 months), so disgusted and upset I just walked away. I made an appointment to another dental office was seen today nov 21 @ 11 am I explained what happen prior at this corona office showed them the same pink slip they took xrays and did the fillings that needed to be done. And I didnt have to pay cash being that my son has his dental plan. In all honesty that corona office was tiny the carpet was filthy the front desk (table) lady was nasty had an attitude and I have never been treated that way by any sort of customer nor patient service ever especially when it evolved my child she had no sort of initiation of helping me no type of care whats so ever I would never recomend that happy smiles corona dental office to anyone. What a horrible and sad experience and waste of commute and time. Highly disappointed!"
"Smiling, friendly, helpful staff. Efficient and impressive service. Easy access from the 7 train, right off the 103rd/Corona Plaza stop. The office space itself could be a little cleaner, but otherwise an excellent choice for your children's dental needs."
"Never got a call back!! Every phone number of this business I called always have a high volume of calls !! Worst experience ever just to make an appointment!!"
