"We adopted our cat (previously known as Queso) around 6-7 months ago. He was a shy little kitten but really came out of his shell. We had a pretty good experience and the staff members really helped us and answered all our questions during the meet and greet. Looking forward to possibly adopting another from here in the future!"
"I adopted Veronica (now is Mia) five years ago after visiting here every day for a week. I checked many adult cats and kittens, and Mia was the most friendly cat to me. The shelter was very clean, and had rooms for you to meet with cats one by one. Thanks for the staffs’ patience and help! Mia is doing great and is the best gift of my life. If I want a second cat I will definitely visit again!"
"i cannot say enough nice things about these people. i adopted my kitten Buttercup (Bea now lol) from them about a week and a half ago. they helped me months before talk through my plan for introducing her to our other cat, what age would best fit our household, giving me detailed info of the cats background to see if they’d enjoy living with other cats/people. these employees truly take the time to get to know and love these animals and do their best to send you home with your best friend. i really can’t even explain how thankful i am for the time the staff took to just talk to me about becoming a pet owner and everything. here’s some pics of Bea all settled in"
"My wife and I stopped there for the first time. We were happy to hear that they would except the many moving blankets we had after moving into the area. The receptionist was very nice and welcomed us to walk through the cats and into the dog area. We did, and found it to be very clean and as comfortable as a shelter could get. There were many “get acquainted “ rooms, 2 volunteers playing with the cats and an other volunteer taking a dog out for a walk. We asked about volunteering and the receptionist said that they always need volunteers. I was also glad to see that the shelter was not over crowded."
"I love this animal shelter with all of my heart! This is one of the best shelters in the state of North Carolina, with a very high adoption rate! The animals here are well taken care of loved by everyone. If you are looking to get a pet, forget the pet store and come here!! If they don't have a pup or kitty that you're looking for just wait because they have new animals everyday. Inexpensive adoption fees for what they do for the animals."
