"My clothing and the money to pay for it has been at Cook’s for over 2 months. I received no telephone calls or notifications during this time. I finally called again today and she is returning my clothing untouched and my cash today. Extremely disappointing as I really like to business locally. My husband even had to have an appointment to pick them up. I definitely would not recommend this business for your sewing needs."

"I can't say enough great things about Paula and Cook's Sewing! I contacted her for alterations to my wedding dress. I added beading to the neckline, shortened the length (it was a bit complicated since it was a ruffled bottom), bustled it, and took lace from my mother's (1965) wedding dress to make detatchable swag sleeves. She was VERY patient with me and took the time to understand my vision. We used 3 appointments as I needed just a few tweaks after the 2nd one. She is very reasonable and the dress came out exactly as I had envisioned. She was extrmely pleasant and I never felt that I was wasting her time or requesting too much. Highly recommend for any alterations or formal dress fittings!"
